I married the man beyond my dreams 20 years ago this April. I say beyond my dreams because he continues to surprise me with his thoughtfulness, kindness, patience and love for me and my dreams. My husband and I have settled down in the area of the beautiful, and peaceful side of the Smoky Mountains, Maryville TN.

Growing up I always wanted to travel and I said that I didn’t take vacations, so I just moved there. This gave me such wonderful opportunities to work with a variety of people, doing many different types of jobs from which I learned a tremendous amount.

Math has always been of interest to me. In high school I would help my friends with their accounting homework which I found to be fun and enjoyable.

At one point, I had a job in a bookkeeping department at a company with multiple convenient store locations where the employer was switching over computer software. A co-worker was stuck on why the reports from the stores were not matching from the old software program and the new one.  I happened to be looking over her shoulder at the reports and began immediately to see where the numbers were off.  This helped those working with the software to see what was needed to be fixed.  The boss was impressed and told me that I had a long suit in this area and was very analytical in my thinking. That boss cultivated this ability and my love for how numbers worked together flourished. 

I have since spent many years working in the bookkeeping field for various types of companies handling: billing, reconciling accounts, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable. Most recently, I spent nine years working in payroll for a company with employees in multiple states. I am no stranger to the bookkeeping world. 

Now, I am working for myself and want to bring the same level of dedication and hard work to help you. My goal is for you to have more time to focus on what is most important to you.
